Dr. Van Nes Named Knox News 40 Under 40

Jaclyn van Nes, MD, Assistant Professor and Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology Simulation, was named as a 2018 Knoxville News Sentinel 40 Under 40. She is an alumnus of the Ob/Gyn Residency at the Univeristy of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine and joined faculty in 2008 following graduation. Dr. van Nes is also a graduate of the UT Physician Leadership Academy and earned her Physician Executive MBA from UT. As a practitioner with Women's Specialty Care, Dr. van Nes has applied her leadership skills to reduce check-in times and reduce no-show rates by ensuring clinic patients had transportation to and from appointments.
